I am a Californian who joined the Navy as a young woman and went to Memphis, TN for A-school. I loved grits pretty much from the second or third taste ( they were new to me so I had to taste them couple times).
I always loved them, but I like them with butter and sugar and everyone has always made fun of me because of it! Supposedly I am breaking some sort of grit Law.
So, I appreciate that you said you liked it with sweetener! Thank you so much!
My mother – in-laws was from West Virginia and she was an amazing cook! Thanks for helping me learn about how her recipes came to be.❤
❤❤❤
I ordered me some country ham you used and had it for breakfast a few days ago and loved it that’s what my dad would cook for breakfast with coffee red eye gravy. I got the ham from Suncrest online. It was so good and much better than the supermarket stuff,
Great video! God bless you and you family!
